15th year of the Harbor Town Dog Show

Admission is free (V.I.P. area tickets, $20)

Contestant entry fee $35 per dog per class, deadline October 19. 

The pet event of the season featuring a half time show, vendors, games, VIP tent, and DJ is back. ‘Who Let the Dogs Out?’ Harbor Town Dog Day benefiting the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County, will be held on Sunday, November 10 at noon in Harbor Town’s Nursery Park, 786 Harbor Crest Lane, Memphis, TN 38103 (www.google.com/maps). 

Competitions open to all neutered, well-behaved dogs with an early entry fee donation.

This year’s theme is The Big Bark Theory: Harbor Town Dogs Go To Comic Con.

Celebrity judges will include Valerie Calhoun, Michael Donahue, Kelly English, Jack Kenner, Michelle Lewis, and Amy Speropoulos. Mistress of Ceremonies Kym Clark of Action News 5 will be making an appearance for the 15th year. Another comeback—the VIP Green Room—by popular demand. A fur’real Drop the Mic competition half time show will feature crowd pleasers like VAMY (Val Calhoun and Amy Speropoulos) v. MELLY (Michael Donahue and Kelly English) v. MACK (Michelle Lewis and Jack Kenner). 

Dog competitions include Most Original Costume, Terrific Pet Trick, Best Tail Wagging (Dog Only), Most Mysterious Heritage (Rescue), Look-A-Like (Dog and Owner), Least Obedient, and Best in Show.

Advanced registration fee for this fur'real dog show is limited to first 15 in each category.

Truly a local event, top sponsor is Memphis Veterinary Services (MVS). Hollywood Feed is also generously donating prizes and gifts for the winning dogs and their respective humans.

Contestants must register by October 19 to ensure a place in the competition ($35), late entries will be accepted, space permitting ($45). Dogs admitted free to the V.I.P. Green Room Area if their human purchases a ticket for $20.
